R at Work

I like using things I’m learning to get actual work done. Theoretical knowledge can only go so far; Sometimes you just need to get your hands dirty.

I’m doing R Programming as a part of a series of  Data Science courses on Coursera. Now, whenever Isee anything that mentions data, I start thinking in R.

The other day, I needed to filter some data from an RMA data file.

I could have saved the file and used Excel to do the filtering but I have so much power with R, I just couldn’t help it.

Here’s what I did in R.

A friend at work, @yzorg, showed me another quick way to do it with Power Shell but I still love my R.
